Air Cabs

For a long time, air cabs were considered a utopian dream, but now they are getting closer and closer. An air cab is an aircraft used to transport passengers or freight inland. These are usually small airplanes, small helicopters or other small aircraft operated by airlines. A company from Karlsruhe has now received approval from the Federal Aviation Authority for the first series production. This company's air cabs can take off and land vertically. However, the EU Commission would like to regulate air cab traffic uniformly throughout the EU. The EU Commission is planning new standards for approval and additional uniform requirements for pilot licenses. The primary goal is safe air traffic.
